On the occasion of Christmas Matita offers a ‘pack’ dedicated to the city of Venice that includes the two books published by Matita in 2023 together with the silkscreen print ‘La Casa alle Zattere’ created by Catherine Cordasco.

Book 1 entitled “Viceversa” is curated by AMArchitectrue (Stefania Agostini and Luca Mostarda) and illustrated by Catherine Cordasco. It is the story of a child growing up through memorable scenes from everyday life from the 1980s to the 2020s when he also becomes a parent.
Book 2, entitled ‘WOW’, is edited and illustrated by Ilaria Pittana and Ilaria Pitteri who together form the duo Venice in Pattern, an online storytelling project that tells the story of the lagoon city through words, photography and patterns.
“La casa alle Zattere” depicts the palazzo built between 1958 and 1962 to a design by architect Ignazio Gardella on the banks of the Giudecca Canal. It is part of a series of illustrations by Catherine Cordasco on modern architecture in Venice that are little known to the public despite their architectural and historical value.
It was printed in 100 copies, numbered and signed, in silkscreen by Fallani, an artistic silkscreen printing workshop that has been operating since 1968 in the heart of Venice.
Each copy is unique.
