“4 Sens dessus dessous/Sottosopra”
In a rigid city designed by and for adults, children struggle to find their space. Play, freedom of movement, and exploration are limited. Until one day, a storm disrupts everything: buildings, cars and public spaces are upside down.
Faced with chaos, the children seize the opportunity to reinvent their environment, creating a more open, inclusive, and playful city.
Little by little, adults too, carried by this creativity, rediscover a vibrant and welcoming city.
“4 Sens dessus dessous/Sottosopra” explores our relationship with urban space and shows that designing a city for children means improving it for everyone.
Anna Puklus is a visual artist and architect of Hungarian origin, living and working in Paris. After 18 years of experience in urban planning and interior architecture, she is now dedicated to the visual arts. Through drawing, illustration, and printmaking, she explores the relationship between the city, memory, and childhood, questioning the perception of space and its interaction with the individual.
“4 Sens dessus dessous/Sottosopra” will be available in fall 2025.
