We’re excited to announce that Matita will be taking part in the upcoming edition of the Festival della cultura liberata, held in Conegliano from June 20 to 22, 2025 — a celebration of creativity, independent publishing, and cultural freedom in all its forms.
You’ll find us at our dedicated stand, where you’ll be able to (re)discover our illustrated books and art prints.
And there’s more: we’ve also planned two free creative workshops for children, designed to learn through play using shapes, letters, and the city of Venice as artistic inspiration.
✏️ Matita’s Creative Workshops
🕚 Letters in Shape – 11:00 AM
Recommended age: 6–9 years
A workshop focused on the illustrated alphabet: kids will create their own abecedary inspired by Venice’s iconic shapes, using collage, drawing, and playful typographic compositions.
🕠 A Walk Through Venice – 5:30 PM
Recommended age: 3–6 years
A creative journey through the bridges, squares, and wonders of Venice, inspired by our book WOW. Illustrated quizzes, handmade stamps, and mixed techniques will help children explore the city in a fun and imaginative way.
